Alison Krauss is one of the most well-known and successful Country Singer who was born on July 23 1971 in the United States state of Illinois, Decatur. She and LeAnn Kymes were two of the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American singer and musician. She began her career in the industry at an early age winning local contests by when she was 10 years old, and recording for the first time when she was 14 years old. She signed to Rounder Records, her first album debuted in 1987. Then, she was invited to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, which is the group she performs with. Her debut album together as a band was released in 1989.
