Jennifer was born in Sherman Oaks Los Angeles California. John Aniston is her father and Nancy Dow, mother. When she was a child her family was comprised of actors. Her godfather was the actor Telly Savalas, a close friend of Jennifer's father. As a result of her father's job as an actor, she lived all over the USA. In New York her parents got divorced and the mother got custody. Her first schooling began at the Rudolf Steiner School when she aged six. This Waldorf-style school is built on the principles of Rudolf Steiner. In the art field, she excelled. of painting. Her work had her work displayed and presented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Aniston was inspired to go into acting following the time she was a part of the Broadway stage production of Children of a Lesser God. It was in 2000 that she enrolled in at the New York High School for Actors. She was employed at The Jackson Hole, a Manhattan hamburger restaurant called The Jackson Hole following the completion of her education. The success of her performances brought her to several Off-Broadway shows, including For Dear Life at New York Public Theater and Dancing On Checker's Grave. Los Angeles was her new residence in 1989 as she looked for more roles. She appeared in a number of TV shows before the 1990's.
